• 89 • For many years, Chung Chi College has aimed to interact with other universities around the world for the enhancement of our students. The Student Visitor Program is one such program with the main objective of promoting direct interaction between students of the College and other universities. The program with Zhejiang University first began in 2002 with the initiation of the committee’s former Chairman, Prof. Y.S. Leung, and the support and patronage of the late Mr. Eddie T.Y. Lu. Since then, it has become a regular yearly activity for Chung Chi College and Zhejiang University students. As the name suggests, the Chung Chi College and Zhejiang University (“CC-ZJU”) Student Visitor Program is exclusive for students of the two hosting institutes. Ten undergraduates from each institute are selected to be student delegates, and they are accompanied by one academic advisor and one staff member during their study trip. Students will take turns to be “visitors” for one week and then “host” for the following week. In The late Mr. Eddie T.Y.
