Professor Kwan Mei Po, Chung Chi College Head and Choh-Ming Li Professor of Geography and Resource Management, has been awarded the International Geographical Union (IGU) Laureat d’honneur, in recognition of her contributions to the international geographical community. She is the first scholar from Hong Kong to receive this prestigious honour. This distinction recognises individuals who have achieved exceptional distinction and rendered outstanding service to the work of the IGU and to the advancement of international geography.
