The College organised “From Inheritance to Innovation – Exhibition of Awardees and Judges of the Au Kin Kung Memorial Calligraphy Competition” at Hong Kong City Hall from 15 to 21 January, where the top three awardees and judges from the past five competitions are invited to showcase their works, engaging in a dialogue of brush and spirit to carry forward the inheritance of Chinese calligraphy.
The opening ceremony was held on 15 January. The College presented the Kan’s brothers - Professor Kan Tai Keung and Dr. Kan Kit Keung - the Chung Chi Silver Plates to acknowledge their contribution to designing the T-Shirt in celebration of Chung Chi’s 75th Anniversary.
4. As the first art event to celebrate Chung Chi’s 75th Anniversary, the opening cum prize presentation ceremony of “Heritage and Prospects – Exhibition on Works from the 6th Au Kin Kung Memorial Calligraphy Competition” was held on 13 January. In this exhibition, winning entries and selected works from the judges are being exhibited until 6 February.
