The Environment and Sustainable Development Committee, together with the Student Hostels Committee, all student hostels, and the community recycling station “GREEN@SHA TIN”, are jointly organising a hostel checkout recycling programme between 1 and 16 May.

Collected items will be partially allocated for students’ use at the start of the upcoming academic year to promote on-campus reuse, while the remainder will be handled by GREEN@SHA TIN for second-hand circulation, as well as shared with the local community or donated to charities. The College hopes to encourage students to recognise waste issues and reduce waste at the source. Please refer below to the details of recycling tips.
