The semester is coming to an end soon! The Chaplain’s Office will bring you two wonderful Midday Oasis concerts before the semester ends. On April 8, three prominent clarinet performers and pedagogues Martin Choy (Founding Principal Clarinet, Hong Kong Sinfonietta), Leung Chi Shing (Clarinet, Former Conductor of Chung Chi Wind Orchestra), Anthony Wong (Principal Clarinet, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong), together with pianist Dr. Cherry Tsang will bring you works from the Romantic and late Romantic eras. Program includes Dvořák’s Terzetto in C Major, Op. 74 (first movement), Schubert’s Trio in B Flat Major, D. 471, Frühling’s Trio in A minor, Op. 40 and Mahler’s Piano Quartet in A minor. On April 15, sister-artists Aimee Sung (Violin) & Karen Sung (Piano) will bring you the popular Chaconne in G minor by Italian Baroque composer Tomaso Antonio Vitali, as well as Schumann’s Sonata No.1 for Violin and Piano in A minor, Op. 105.
