The Tang Dynasty was a golden age of Chinese civilization. It was marked by the sound political system, meticulous city planning, vibrant and colorful civilian life, flourishing literature and art, and unprecedented exchanges among different ethnic groups and regions. It was a distinctive era characterized by openness and multicultural integration in society.
The exhibition “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness” is co-organized by the Development Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR and the National Cultural Heritage Administration. It features nearly 300 important relics from Mainland China and Hong Kong, including 49 Grade I cultural relics and 29 Tang Dynasty artifacts unearthed in Hong Kong, showcasing the inclusiveness, openness, and multicultural fusion of the Tang Dynasty.
The guided tour of the exhibition is specially arranged by the Antiquities and Monuments Office. Teachers and students of the College are welcome to join and explore the brilliance of Tang’s culture and history together.
