South Africa & Kenya Cultural Exploration Learning Tour Post-trip Exhibition

2025-09-25

Chung Chi Updates / College Activities

During the recently concluded summer vacation, 28 Chung Chi students participated in the college's summer program in July, traveling to South Africa and Kenya to explore issues related to racial segregation and gender equality. Students also had the opportunity to witness the spectacular animal migration in Kenya.

The students will hold an exhibition at LG4 Activity Room, Kunkle Student Centre, from September 22 to 26, sharing the results of this exploration with all CUHK students. You are highly encouraged to visit the exhibition. During the exhibition, you will:

  • review highlights from the students’ 14-day itinerary, including viewing the animal migration;
  • understand the college’s summer program and learn how participating students completed their projects through this learning tour;
  • have hands-on experience of African handicrafts and taste of Africa’s “national treasure tea” on-site;
  • learn more about University YMCA (CCC CUHK).
