The Office of Academic Links (OAL) is pleased to announce a special opportunity for CUHK students to be part of the event team of the Global University Presidents and Leaders Summit to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during 2-3 December 2024. This summit will welcome 60+ university presidents and leaders from around the world to engage in a dialogue on the Globalization of Knowledge, covering topics such as technology in education, AI in society, international development, and university governance. Being part of the team will not only allow you to gain valuable experiences in a large-scale international event but also expand your network and build connections. 

As a Student Ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the event, such as providing on-site support, escorting guests and delegates between venues, manning registration desks, and addressing any questions the delegates may have. We are looking for students to work during the following days (actual working hours TBC):

• 1 December (Sunday): 10:00am–9:00pm (for some ambassadors, a rehearsal at 2:00pm–6:00pm is mandated)
• 2 December (Monday): 7:00am–9:00pm
• 3 December (Tuesday): 7:00am–7:00pm

CUHK students will be remunerated at the CUHK student helper hourly rate of HKD $64. If you are interested, please indicate your availability by completing the online form by 15 November 2024.
