The Mentor Programme Kick-off Ceremony 2025 of Chung Chi College was held at LG4 Activity Rooms, Kunkle Student Centre on February 22, 2025. In 2025, total 61 mentors including 3 new mentors and 95 mentees have joined the Local Mentor Programme. And total 19 mentors including 2 new mentors from Mainland China and 25mentees have joined the Non-local Mentor Programme. The Overseas Mentor Programme has been renamed to Non-local Mentor Programme because alumni from the Mainland China and overseas have been invited to be mentors.
Since 1999, the College alumni have fully supported the Programme. Students can also meet with alumni and peers from various backgrounds and different generations. To thank for mentors who had served the Programme for over 20 and 10 years, the College presented souvenirs to them. Mr. Lu Lo Chung (1966/Sociology) and Mr. Huang Ling Hang (1978/Marketing) have joined the Programme for over 20 years. Mr. Lu and Mr. Huang were invited to share their thoughts on experience of being mentors.
