The Committee (1) formulates strategies and action plans to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions; (2) incorporates sustainability in campus life and proposes new initiatives fostering sustainable development; (3) cultivates teachers and students’ environmental awareness for maintaining high standards of environmental hygiene; and (4) monitors plans and policies affecting long-term environmental and ecological issues on campus and advises the College thereof.
